Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 announcement

First Tee – Greater Pasadena’s top priority is the health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers for all our program locations across the Greater Pasadena service area. We have been monitoring all available information related to the continued spread of the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19.  Any future programs will be depended on the opening of golf facilities and their instructions on when group lessons are permitted.   We will continue to stay in close contact with local, state and national Departments of Health to determine local risk and plans to help prevent the spread of this illness. We also recommend everyone follow the travel restrictions and hygiene precautions from the CDC and U.S. Department of State and make adjustments to all activities as warranted. Please stay safe and if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to our staff. Thank you.

Steps of prevention that we can now take during our programs when we open:
– Coaches and volunteers will use “air high-five” when doing meeting & greeting or congratulating a participant.
– FTGP has purchased disinfecting wipes that participants and staff can use for equipment.
– Students will not be allowed to borrow clubs from each other. We (FTGP) have equipment for participants to borrow.
– Coaching staff will wipe down grips before and after class
– We encourage participants wash their hands before and after class.
