First Tee is an international youth development organization that uses golf as a tool to teach young people the positive values inherent in the game such as honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy, and judgment. First Tee – Greater Pasadena provides lessons that are taught in traditional settings such as golf courses and driving ranges as well as in schools, parks and other youth service agencies. Research has proven that our participants are learning and using life skills such as goal setting, interpersonal communication, self-management and resistance skills. Perhaps most importantly, many of our participants are receiving college scholarships and career opportunities because of their involvement with First Tee – Greater Pasadena.
First Tee – Greater Pasadena holds golf programs directed toward youth ages 5 to 17, and aims at impacting young people’s lives by employing the game of golf while providing educational programs on:
1) Character Building
2) Instilling Life-enhancing values
3) Promoting Healthy Choices
We have 4 levels of annual sponsorship available:
- Ace – $25,000
- Eagle – $10,000
- Birdie – $5,000
- Par – $2,500
